Our   🤝 Initial Consultation  and    🔁 2nd Appointment  are part of every engagement.

Terms and Conditions for Appointments

🤝 Initial Consultation

Let a member of our team of professionals work with you to prepare a service quotation based on your personal or business needs.

  • Having an initial consultation allows your assigned team member an opportunity to get to know you and your business and create a strategy to better serve your tax savings.

  • After your initial consultation, you will receive a quote for the services identified during your consultation.

    • You will be provided a list of any pending information or documentation necessary to complete the requested services.

  • If you file using Form 1040 Individual Tax Return, the consultation fee will be applied to your final tax preparation service.

Business Consultation Fees will NOT be applied to the final service fee.



🔁 2nd Appointment

Having a 2nd appointment allows our team to finalize your work ensuring all available options and opportunities have been identified and applied to your personalized services.

For the 2nd Appointment to be scheduled, the following requirements must be met:

  • Approval of Quoted Services from Initial Consultation.

  • Receipt of 50% retainer of the quoted services

  • Receipt of requested documentation from Initial Consultation.

Most 2nd Appointments are scheduled within 3 weeks of meeting all  requirements.

➕ Additional Meetings

Not all work is done after meeting twice. Paz Tax may need to schedule additional follow up meetings to ensure all information has been verified.

  • Most additional meetings are used for signing documents.

  • Most additional meetings are included in the service fee if requested by Paz Tax.

Our Reschedule and Cancellation Policies

🔁 Rescheduled Appointments

Life happens and reschedules are inevitable in our hectic environments. We understand there are things in life we can't control and offer you a way to feel at ease and reschedule your appointment at no cost to you. To reschedule, we ask you keep in mind the following:

  • All reschedules must take place 24 hours prior to scheduled time.

  • Payment not eligible for refund after 1st reschedule.

  • Up to 2 reschedules allowed after which the consultation will be cancelled, and payment forfeited.

❌ Cancellations

Your request will automatically cancel in 24 hours without payment.

  • You can select Cancel Booking or it will automatically cancel at no charge to you.

Once you are certain and confirm your appointment, we are charged a merchant fee to complete the transaction. When issuing your refund, we pay an additional merchant fee.

  • A $25 Transaction Fee will be applied to all cancelled appointments.

Once your appointment is confirmed, you are locking down that timeslot and preventing others from selecting that appointment.

  • You may cancel anytime but an additional $25 charge will be applied if the appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time.

If you cant make your appointment, dont worry, read our 🔁 Rescheduled Appointments policy and choose a date and time that best suits your situation. If you are in a bind, give us a call and let us help you figure it out.

  • A No-Call-No-Show will not be rescheduled and will not be issued a refund.
